Step beyond the traditional dental setting and discover how hospital dentistry can bridge the gap between complex medical needs and essential oral healthcare.

Participants will learn how hospital dentistry can provide access to specialty dental services, comprehensive evaluations, and advanced treatment planning. Coordinated multidisciplinary care, occasionally with the support of sedation or general anesthesia, helps patients receive the treatment they need: restorative, oral surgery, endodontic, and more.

The course highlights medical risk assessment, dental-medical collaboration, patient safety, and strategies for delivering equitable care to patients who may be unable to access traditional dental settings.

Discover with us how hospital dentistry can transform access, expand treatment options, and ensure that every patient has a pathway to the dental care they deserve.

Learning objectives: This engaging CE course explores the unique role of hospital-based dentistry in caring for medically complex patients and individuals with special healthcare needs who may face significant barriers to receiving routine or specialized dental care.
