Current Opportunities
City Team Dental Clinic
The City Team Dental Clinic in North San Jose is seeking ongoing Dentist Volunteers to serve individuals suffering from homelessness and toxic dependency in residence at the City Team Ministries recovery facility. Services are provided at the discretion of Volunteers but could include basic dentistry, prophylaxis, fillings, extractions, partial and full dentures, and some endodontic therapy in the anterior teeth, all at no charge. Volunteers must carry their own malpractice insurance.
The clinic is open on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers do not need to stay for the whole time. Any time you can offer is gratefully accepted.

Healing California – Central Valley Veteran’s Dental and Vision Clinic
Healing California is currently seeking All Dental Roles: Dentists, Hygienists, Sterilization, X-Ray, RDAs, DAs, Dental Students to assist with free dental and vision care at the Central Valley Veteran’s Dental and Vision Clinic providing much-needed services to our Veterans in and around Fresno.
June 27 & 28, 2026
Multiple shift Options Available (morning 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, afternoon 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, or all-day 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Services will include dental exams, x-rays, cleaning, fillings, and extractions. Healing California will provide all necessary instruments and equipment (such as Aseptico AEU-7000E Series – Implant, Endo and Oral Surgery Systems, Bobcat Pro Scaler, Patterson Amalgamator Unit, Aseptico Express Air II Portable Dental Unit, Aseptico ADU-04ST Pneumatic Dental Unit, Curing lights, and Headlights) and supplies, including PPE, logistical, and any other support our volunteers need so all you need to do is signup, show up and help take care of patients.
Pediatric Screenings with Remember the ToothFairy
Remember the ToothFairy is seeking Dentist Volunteers to assist with an upcoming free pediatric oral health screening clinic.
Saturday, July 25th
9am – 3pm
San Jose/Santa Clara (exact location TBD)
The event will focus on providing:
- Free oral health screenings for children
- Early identification of potential dental concerns
- Oral health education for families
- Referrals and connections to ongoing dental care resources including Medi-Cal and community dental clinics
This will be a non-treatment event only. No drilling, fillings, extractions, or invasive procedures will be performed.
Participating providers may opt their office in to be a potential referral partner to support continuity of care (partnership not guaranteed). Following application and review, good-fit offices will be contacted to help connect children identified during the screenings with ongoing dental homes, particularly Medi-Cal Dental accepting providers and community clinics.
Pride Social South County – Gilroy Pride
We are currently seeking 2-3 Dentist Volunteers and 1-2 Dental Assistant Volunteers to assist with Pride Social South County’s Gilroy Pride event to provide dental screenings and education.

Gilroy City Hall Plaza
This family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration will feature a variety of community and health resources, vendors, entertainment, speakers, music, and great food for all members and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community.

Healthy Living Fair
We are currently seeking 2-3 Dentist Volunteers to assist with the Healthy Living Fair on:
Sunday, October 11, 2026
8am-4pm
Trinidad Episcopal Cathedral, 81 N 2nd St, San Jose
At this event, underserved members of the community will have access to a range of health services including medical checks, hearing testing, and dental services (x-rays, fillings, cleanings, extractions, etc). Dental equipment will be provided by Tzu Chi Foundation.

In School Screenings with Healthier Kids Foundation
Healthier Kids Foundation is seeking ongoing Dentist Volunteers to provide in-school screenings for elementary school children.
Due to school district requirements, volunteers must be prepared to provide: Proof of License, Proof of Insurance, Negative TB Test/Screening, Background Check
Screenings are conducted on a rolling basis throughout the schoolyear in multiple locations throughout the San Jose area. Volunteers may indicate the frequency and locations preferred to allow for flexible scheduling.
