Accepting Applications for 3 Board of Directors Positions

We are excited to announce that the SCCDS Nominating Committee is currently accepting applications for three key openings on the Board of Directors. This is a unique opportunity for dedicated and passionate individuals to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of our organization. The available positions include Secretary, responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring effective communication within the board; Director-At-Large, a versatile role offering a broad perspective on organizational matters; and Board of Components Representatives, a position focused on liaising with CDA and representing SCCDS interests at the state level. We encourage qualified candidates to submit their application to Shadi Kanaan at shadik@sccds.org following the criteria described below.

Secretary, the Board of Components Representative, and One BOD Member at Large
    1. If interested in serving as Secretary and member of the SCCDS Executive Committee, please provide a succinct one-paragraph response to these questions as well as your CV.
      1. What motivates you to consider joining the Executive Committee and ultimately moving through the positions to becoming President?
      2. What experiences, training, skills and strengths do you believe you’d bring to the executive committee and the various officer positions? Include professional, personal, community – they all make you who you are.
      3. Where do you see SCCDS going in the future?
