Last night’s February General Membership Meeting was a warm, high-energy gathering that brought together learning, community, and a little bit of festive fun. We were delighted to welcome five new members into the Society, Anil Ramappa, Madeleine Tucker, Ashley Zhang, Priscilla Hu, and Ingrid Lee.
We are especially grateful to our two wonderful volunteers, Catalina Calderon Diaz and Carson Kennedy, who helped keep the evening running smoothly. Their support made a meaningful difference and helped create such a welcoming atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
The evening blended two joyful celebrations. In honor of Lunar New Year, members were greeted with charming Year of the Horse plushies and enjoyed a delicious dinner from the local restaurant Pearl River. At the same time, we leaned into the spirit of Valentine’s Day with our “We Love Our Members” prize drawing, where one lucky winner took home a $300 gift certificate to Le Papillon; a truly sweet way to show our appreciation. Congratulations Dr. Sona Khinvasara!
Education was also front and center, with an engaging and practical presentation on Early Management Solutions for Challenging Dental Anomalies – Short Root, Transposition, and Multiple Missing Teeth by Dr. Heesoo Oh. Dr. Oh offered real-world insight and thoughtful strategies that sparked great discussion and gave attendees tools they can bring directly back to their practices.
