General Membership Meeting: Orthodontic Evolution: Core Concepts, Digital Advances, and AI in Clinical Care – 9/11/25

September 11 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

This course explores the dynamic intersection of classical orthodontic principles with modern technological advancements. Participants will examine foundational orthodontic concepts while critically engaging with digital innovations, artificial intelligence applications, and evolving clinical methodologies. Through a blend of evidence-based discussions and practical case reviews, the course aims to equip orthodontists with strategies to integrate emerging tools into daily practice without compromising core treatment philosophies.

Objectives:

• Reaffirm key biomechanical and diagnostic principles underpinning orthodontic treatment.
• Evaluate the capabilities and limitations of digital orthodontic tools, including virtual treatment planning and 3D imaging.
• Understand the role of artificial intelligence in orthodontic diagnosis, planning, and patient communication.
• Assess how to balance traditional orthodontic methods with technological enhancements for optimal clinical outcomes.
• Apply integrated workflows that combine foundational techniques with advanced digital systems in a clinical setting.
