- Allied Dental Health Professionals (ADHP) Committee
- This Committee is responsible for developing relationships with auxiliary dental professions, designing continuing education programs for auxiliary professionals and encouraging qualified individuals to enter the dental field.
- Building Management Committee
- This Committee is responsible for overseeing management and maintenance of the office building owned by the Santa Clara County Dental Society at 1485 Park Avenue, San Jose, and works with staff on maintenance and use of the building.
- Communications/Public Relations Committee
- This Communications Committee is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the variety of tools the Society uses to communicate with its members and the community: the magazine, the website, social media, marketing materials and media relations.
- Community Services Committee
- This Committee is responsible for identifying oral health and education needs in the community and developing and implementing programs and projects to address them through the volunteer efforts of member dentists and by partnering with other organizations that share our mission.
- Continuing Education Committee
- This Committee is responsible for identifying continuing education speakers for the general membership meetings and special programs.
- Leadership Development Committee
- This Committee is responsible for helping to identify and develop competent leaders at all levels of involvement for the Society. The committee develops strategies to encourage members to join a committee, develop committee members to assume leadership roles.
- Legislative Committee
- This Committee is responsible for supporting the legislative priorities of the CDA and the ADA and to act when requested at the direction of the CDA Legislative Council and the Cal-D-Pac Chairperson.
- Membership Committee
- This Committee is responsible for encouraging member retention and recruiting new members through enhancing members’ experiences
- Political Action Committee
- This Committee is dedicated to the advancement of the dental health of the people of the Santa Clara County. To further this objective the committee may raise funds for educational and political purposes, may expend the funds in support of candidates for public office, may cooperate with other organizations having similar purposes, and may engage in all lawful activities in pursuance of these purposes.
