The Santa Clara County Dental Foundation (SCCDF) is dedicated to promoting improved oral health for Santa Clara County residents. We do this by providing resources and funding for programs operated by volunteer dentists from the Santa Clara County Dental Society (SCCDS).
Since the Foundation’s inception in 2005, volunteers have provided dental services valued at more than $740,000 to local residents who had no other access to much needed dental care. Many of these patients have been referred from the Salvation Army and from the county’s Family Wellness Court. We also work with Next Door: Solutions to Domestic Violence; PRERNA, an organization that assists refugee families resettling here; Red, White and Blue Charities, which assists veterans and others; and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church homeless ministry.
