Last year I returned to Boston to celebrate my 30th reunion at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After a GPR year in New York City, I came to San Jose in 1987 and worked as an associate dentist. Less than a year later I got the opportunity to purchase a small practice from a retiring member of our Society. I’ve just begun my 30th year as a solo dental practitioner, and I would like to share my experiences of those three decades and my thoughts about the future of solo practice.
