The Santa Clara County Dental Foundation (SCCDF) was formed in 2005 with the purpose of providing assistance to groups or individuals in our local community and giving scholarships and financial aid to qualified and deserving students that will eventually serve our dental community. SCCDF has partnered with the Salvation Army and with Santa Clara County Family Court to provide services to individuals that are rehabilitating from substance abuse. n addition, the annual Give Kids A Smile screening in schools and pro-bono dental services for children (formerly called Dentist With A Heart) is run under the auspices of the Foundation.

Our goal with the SCCDF is to share a leadership role with the SCCDS Board and Committees in providing manpower and financial support in providing dental care for the needy and supporting dental auxiliaries training programs in our community. Though much has been accomplished over the years to improve the dental health of our community, the need remains great.

Please contact the Dental Society to get involved or to find out more.
